What does a
voice coach do? A Voice Coach is someone with a professional qualification in voice training. They have an expert understanding of the anatomy and physiology of how people speak. They also have an expert understanding of how our voice, body language and words can be used to create impact in any professional situation. An expert voice coach will listen to a client, and really understand their communication requirements. They will then create a bespoke plan that will develop not only the clients voice, but their overall professional impact. Find out more |
Why is voice coaching important?
Voice Coaching can be the difference between success or failure at your next interview, presentation or important meeting. Voice Coaching can subtly or dramatically change how you are perceived by those around you. People are often defined or judged by how they speak. If we cannot understand someone, we are less inclined to spend time with them, or do business with them. Voice coaching can remove any blockage in communication, and ensure that whenever you want to influence, your voice can strike the right note. Find out more |
How long does it take for voice coaching to work?
In just 3 hours an expert voice coach can share the basic skills that can make a serious professional impact. With 6 hours coaching most key voice skills can be shared. Further sessions may be required by a client in order to practise with their coach and develop the skills learnt. The key to developing your voice is not to simply confine yourself to practising with your coach. It is estimated that it takes 20 hours of practise to get "good" at a new skill.
